Hokkie/ Hockey

Ons verwelkom selfs leerlinge wat nie glo dat hul die talent het om aan hokkie deel te neem nie, want ons ontwikkel elke kind na gelang van sy/haar vermoë. Dit gaan vir ons as skool oor deelname en die genot daarvan.
We are proud to say that every Dennie will be developed into a hockey player. Our goal is not winning but to develop the game at primary school level as well as the development for future participation as a player.
Ons neem aktief deel aan die plaaslike liga asook vriendskaplike toernooie op Saterdae wat regoor die Eden distrik aangebied word.

Our aim is to create the love for the game and the enjoyment by each player.

Coaches and umpires/ Afrigters en skeidsregters
Our coaches and umpires are positive and have the skill and ability to provide coaching on a high level. Our umpires are qualified and kept up with the latest changes in rules by attending scheduled meetings and courses.

Proewe/trials
Our players are given the opportunity to take part in SWD trials on a yearly basis.
Toekenings/Awards
We have a special way of giving recognition for participation and achievements by awarding every age group with three awards:

• Beste speler van die ouderdomsgroep
• Speler van die jaar vir die spesifieke ouderdomsgroep
